My Background:
I started my first entrepreneurial endeavour at about age 6. I sold discarded toys, door-to-door, and convinced my mother to make cordial which I sold at the front of my house.
At age 13 I progressed to the sale of horse poo; I had a steady base of clientele but decided shovelling wasn't my thing!
Then in 1991, at age 20, I put together the plans to establish my first business and it became official 1 week after I turned 21 in that same year. I have been a business owner ever since. What a journey! I have never looked back and feel very blessed that I am living my life which is aligned with my values, and pursuing a life I am passionate about... I feel that I never "work" a day in my life.
My entrepreneurial pursuits include: Aussie Résumés Pty Limited: one of Australia's best and most well respected companies for a whole range of services for the serious job seeker. I have assisted thousands of people in getting the job they want, in and from, various countries, including: Australia, Belgium, Brazil, China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Iraq, Ireland, Japan, New Zealand, Pakistan, Philippines, Russia, Singapore, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Sweden, Thailand, United Kingdom, United States, Zimbabwe (to name a few).
On an ongoing basis, I am also a freelance writer and am a published author. Additionally, I owned and sold a mystery shopper organisation that catered predominantly to the hospitality industry, and a clerical/PR/marketing consultancy.
Being in the careers industry, I have been "informally" coaching people for years - in the areas of both career and life, as the two are weaved together so closely in our waking hours and they easily overlap. I have also played a Mentoring role to other business owners / executives, and more recently, have provided business coaching to small business owners.
